talentsocial is a disruptive new recruitment agency that uses the power of social media to find the best candidates to help mainly technology companies grow their business. Founder Lynn Jennings approached us to create the brand identity system and design the new site for this exciting new start-up.
As talentsocial is essentially a social business it was important to establish the company’s social brand so we created a device that would work well with major social media icons such as the Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn logos. We then created the talentsocial logotype in Helvetica Neue with the letters kerned closer together to represent how social media and the talentsocial brand brings people and companies closer together.
With the client’s help we selected real people as models for the all-important photo shoot which would give the brand its visual identity. We shot the models – including the founder Lynn herself – in 360 degrees to illustrate how the unique talentsocial approach gives companies a more complete picture of candidates than outdated recruitment methods. The different images were layered in a fresh almost Cubist way to give greater impact and brand recognition.
We then built the new site which features slider imagery and parallax scrolling to again echo the brand’s approach of taking a fresh and unique view of recruitment and the talent finding process. The site integrates all the company’s social media and is structured so that social feeds can pull imagery from the site and is optimised for a seamless and responsive user experience.
