Since its founding in 2005, the North East Economic Forum (NEEF) has been a vital platform for regional stakeholders in the North East of England to engage with national and international leaders on economic development. When NEEF sought to refresh its identity, Brandlogik was entrusted to craft a new brand identity and website in collaboration with the initiative’s lead policy and PR partners.

Through our signature Brand Sprint approach, we identified NEEF’s core mission: to amplify the voice of the North East, driving investment, economic growth, and job creation. This insight inspired the brand positioning and the development of a memorable strapline, “Connecting the North East to growth and investment,” with the letters “NE” subtly emphasized to represent the region.

The resulting brand is flexible, innovative, and grounded in a distinct North East tone—approachable yet ambitious. It’s designed not only to resonate but also to deliver measurable outcomes. This vision comes to life in the new NEEF website, which you can explore here.

With this revitalized identity, NEEF continues to champion the region’s economic progress on both national and global stages.
